AS LABRUNA AT BAUMA IN MONACO
22-10-2022 | Company News
From 24 to 30 October, we will fly to Bauma in Munich, the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery.
For the occasion, we will introduce our Power 80 for agricultural and off-road applications: a diesel-electric hybrid module consisting of the FPT Industrial F34 55 kW stage V diesel engine + 25 kW electric motor for a total of 80 kW without Ad blue.
E-vision, our sustainable mobility business unit, is coming into port and touching down, making its entry into the industrial sector with the new Power 80 diesel-electric power pack.
The system can operate in four modes. Full electric work - the electric motor operates the load with zero emissions, whilst the diesel engine is switched off. Recharge & Generator - the diesel engine draws the electric module that recharges the batteries and generates electricity. Through an inverter it is also possible to switch single-phase and three-phase loads in AC at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Work & Recharge - the diesel engine starts the load and recharges the batteries and generates electricity. With an inverter, it is also possible to run single-phase and three-phase loads in AC at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Booster - the diesel engine and electric module power the load simultaneously, providing a torque of 480 [Nm] and a total power of 80 [kW].
The power pack allows an endothermic engine without a urea system to be used, thereby exploiting the additional power of the electric motor to push up to a total power output of 80 kW and a torque of almost 500 Nm with torque delivery from low revs. The electric motor has a SAE 3 11 1/2 crankcase cover as an interface, allowing the manufacturer to have the same interfaces as are normally used on the endothermic engine.
